Dovey's Promise
Dovey's Promise is a courtroom drama about Dovey Roundtree's brilliant defense of Raymond Crump in the Tow-path murder trial of 1965, in which the victim was Mary Pinchot Meyer, the last mistress of JFK. It was Dovey against the vast resources of the U.S. Department of Justice. Joy White stars as the indomitable Dovey Roundtree.
