Anastasiya Palchikova
Anastasiya Valeryevna Palchikova (Russian: Анастасия Валерьевна Пальчикова; born 27 May 1982, Saratov) is a Russian screenwriter, filmmaker, singer and songwriter. She is best known for her award winner screenplay for the film "Bolshoi", her musical career in the band "СуХие" and solo "Gg".
Anastasia Palchikova was born in Saratov in a family of physicists. When she was 13, her father died. Nastya was seriously worried about her father's departure, as a result of which she ran away from home and lived an independent life in an abandoned house for two months. At the same time, Nastya did not stop attending general education and music schools. Nastya speaks three languages: Polish, English, and French. She studied at gymnasium No. 3 with an English bias. She graduated from a music school with a cello class as an external student. She became the winner of many music competitions. In parallel with her studies, she worked as an English translator. After finishing school, she worked as a translator in Poland.
In 1999, she entered the music school in the cello class to the teacher Lev Vladimirovich Ivanov. In 2000, she entered the faculty of Philology at the Chernyshevsky state University. During her studies, Nastya became a participant in the Lomonosov readings at the Lomonosov Moscow state University. She also won numerous philological competitions. In 2003, after finishing her third year, she dropped out of University and music school. Then she moved to Moscow and entered the "VGIK" named after S. A. Gerasimov at the screenwriting department, in the workshop of N. Ryazantseva, from which she graduated in 2008. During her studies, Nastya's scripts were published in the publications "Iskusstvo Kuno" and "Screenplay". During her first year, Anastasia was offered to write a script for the movie series "Deal" commissioned by "Pervij Kanal". Also, during her studies, she wrote the script for the TV movie "It Happens". Nastya has written many scripts for films and TV series, and collaborates with such Directors as Valery Todorovsky, Alexander Kott, Anna Melikyan, Vladimir Mirzoev, and others. From 2009 to 2017, she was a soloist of the group "СуХие". In August 2016, Nastya was invited to come to London to record several songs in English. In a short time, the single from the mini-album "4 Days" reached number 17 on the UK club charts, number 7 on the UK pop chart, number 10 on iTunes in the Netherlands, and was reviewed by Music Week magazine. Anastasia is currently recording albums in Russian and English.
