Carlos Funes
Carlos Funes is a versatile filmmaker who has lived in various parts of the United States. Originally from El Salvador, he has lived in Texas and New York before settling down in Los Angeles. He garnered an Emmy nomination for his editing on a promotional video produced at WNBC at 30 Rockefeller Center, NYC.
Throughout his impressive career, Funes has worked in various roles including as a director, writer, digital effects animator, and more.
Funes has an extensive portfolio, having taking on projects for an array of large corporations and popular brands, including Lionsgate, Viacom, NBC Universal, Bravo TV, Verizon Wireless, Warner Bros, JP Morgan, Droid, Apple and others.
Funes has recently taken up the helm of directing full-length films. His current project, titled "KILO 3",recounts the story of a military plane pilot who is stranded in the middle of nowhere, enemies surrounding him with no way out.
He owns his own production company called Clasico Entertainment.
Barbara De Fina (of Goodfellas, Casino, and Hugo fame) is producing another film called "South of Bexar" which chronicles the life of a Country musician living in a rural Texas town.
