Jason is a film director and documentarian living in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn with a treasure trove of expired Fuji 125T and a cat named Miles Davis. He is currently developing a long form narrative slate.
He's edited four feature documentaries - including A Kid from Coney Island (Netflix), Down a Dark Stairwell (PBS) about the police murder of Akai Gurley and an upcoming feature documentary on Kanye West called Jeen-yuhs (Netflix). He's also just completed editing a docuseries based on the book How Music Got Free (AppleTV+). In his spare time, he teaches 16mm/35mm cinematography at a cinema arts non-profit called Mono No Aware.
