Giordona Aviv
Giordona Aviv is an actress, award-winning writer, producer, and a TV personality. She was born and raised in Podgorica, Montenegro.
She started her acting career at the age of 17, at The Montenegrin Royal Theater "Zetski Dom" in the old capital Cetinje. She continued her career at the Montenegrin National Theatre in Podgorica. She starred in twenty notable productions such as: Comedy of Errors directed by Jagos Markovic, Cherry Orchard directed by Ivica Kuncevic, King Ibi directed by Slobodan Slobodan Milatovic, Ostatku napredak directed by Milan Karadzic, Sexual Perversities in Chicago directed by Drasko Djurovic, and many others She graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts under the mentorship of a prominent Yugoslavian movie star, author and teacher Boro Stjepanovich.
She was a host of the popular morning show Balkan Net on PINK TV with Marinko Madžgalj and Ognjen Amidžić. She was, also, a consultant and a judge on a Talent Show produced by TV IN. At the age of 20, she was awarded Best Screenplay Award by The Ministry of Culture (Montenegro) for her screenplay "Taxi Ride", which she later produced for National Television of Montenegro (RTCG) television in partnership with The Montenegrin Film Association. She resides in Los Angeles.
