Medici: The Magnificent

Year 1470. The power of the Medici family has been consolidated over time. Lorenzo is chosen to take his father's place after an attempt to take his life. As the new visible head of the family, he is forced to take care of his brother Giuliano and his sister Bianca. Lorenzo marries Clarice Orsini, a Roman noblewoman, while his friendship with Botticelli adds splashes of color to the Renaissance era. However, his fight with Pope Sixtus IV leads Florence to suffer the bloodiest moment in its history.
